Mute the BBC hosts if necessary. It's not difficult to corroborate the evidence, and to get trustworthy news that the rest of the world also consider. We know tahat the Russian news is misleading. There's no comparison between it and relatively trustworthy media sources, or especially the raw videos.

It's basically legal murder, so it attracts some sickos.

Murder your enemy and you'll spend the rest of your life behind bars.

Murder a government's enemy and they'll pay you.

Some also theorize war is a way governments allow their most hostile citizens to vent and, hopefully, let the most violent trouble makers get themselves killed.

Russia used this most effectively in the war against ISIS. Before, they had a severe problem with Muslim domestic terrorists. Then ISIS advertised the need for foreign fighters, and Russia helped them travel down there. Most of them died fighting virtually every government on the planet, and those that survived, Russia refused to allow re-entry. Now Russia, has no more Muslim domestic terrorists.
