They've always had that smug sense of moral superiority. That's not down the US troops.

How do you think Hitler happened?

With a smaller vote than anyone remembers. Hitler was super unpopular with most of Europe. They tried to assassinate him dozens of times, but he had the luck of the Devil and got away on each occasion.

That's not down the US troops.

If you actually read the piece, yes, they have a smug sense of moral superiority due to the ruinously expensive defense provided for free by the struggling US taxpayer. You know, the ones who can't afford an $800 emergency. You think Europeans don't know this and shit on us for it? I assure you they do.

Hitler didn't get a majority vote in "most of Europe", he got it in Germany.

The piece can say what it likes. The fact is Germany has many cultural problems it has never confronted and they come from long before the western occupation.

Unless you have some research which shows that Germans were significantly less morally smug in 1930 or similar?

This is what's called sealioning, isn't it?

The thread topic is Germans being ungrateful pricks for the security provided by impoverishing Americans.
