Lol Japan and China have always hated each other, pretty much. They basically took turns trying to conquer each other for hundreds of years. They know how this works.

Japan had invaded the fuck out of china in WWII, they probably would now to take resources except the US still occupies Japan and China has nukes. At least Japan is trying to fight economically by getting companies out. Doubt $536 mill will be enough.

Yeah it's going to take tens of billions to really make a dent, but it's a good symbolic gesture to show they're serious
