Not just houses but clothes too. They live in a tropical climate. 10 degrees celcius at night? Thats really hot where I come from.

Once you include things like malnutrition and lack of health care, you realize that although 4 degrees doesnt seem that cold, it will kill you if you havent had enough to eat or live in a wet, unhygienic environment.

edit: I just realize that my clothing was made in Bangladesh. How ironic.
