So we're just supposed to listen to Inna Rassakova as a pretty face?

And where is your understanding of history when you ignore the Chechen war where the nation threw out the leaders trying to take people into a suicide mission of fighting with Russia?

Further, where is your understanding of Mariupol and how Ukraine was shelling the Donbas for eight years?

It's pretty ridiculous that you pretend to know so much about a country where you know so little about what occurred and get the first attractive female to say crazy things to you.

Arrant nonsense, projection from a troubled mind.

We don't have to guess what Russia is going to do, we have the example of Chechnya, and now Mariupol and related cities in the Donbass and Crimea. As for the West of Ukraine where the population leans to psychopathic hatred of Russia, Putin is signaling that he doesn't want it.

I don't see the point of writing such nonsense, particularly this:

So, lots of fingernails getting pulled out and electroshock torture for the men, lots of rapes of the ladies involved in actual fighting and killing. The same will likely apply to most of the actual members of the Ukrainian military, male or female.

Ample evidence to refute your entire argument can be found in the way the Russians have treated POWs in this conflict, even the Nazis, who they've held separately with plans to put them on trial for war crimes. For which there's loads of evidence because of the proclivity of these sadists to post their egregious acts to Telegram.

Only a small proportion of German POW's survived in Russian captivity during WWII, my friend. You don't really dispute this, do you? The Nuremberg trials are hardly representative of Soviet treatment of the Nazis, in general. Those were show trials.

You do understand that Russia is not the Soviet Union, don't you, my friend?

Sure. Putin's a reasonable man, I realize that. However, how do you control a highly violent and rebellious militant population like the Russians are going to find in Ukraine? Even reasonable people will resort to violence and torture if they have no other means to control a rebellious population. If you disagree with me, what do you propose will be Putin's solution? Have the Ukrainians and Russians play Shostakovich chamber music together?

I don't know Putin or what he thinks or plans. Neither do you. It just seems odd to me that when you choose to speculate, it's in the direction you've taken. Maybe the problem is in the eye of the beholder, you do seem to get off on Stalin judging from your post history. No worries, do your thang, no one here is going to stop you though you'll likely get called out for what I consider a gratuitous bullshit take. BTW, that sarcastic remark at the end of your comment was pretty lame.

Agree with you down the line on the post and poster's comments. As you point out, in this free-speech zone, OP is welcome to post what he likes that doesn't violate rules, and all here are free to support, rebut, or ignore it.

Hey, no one's forcing you to read my stuff, buddy! I like to speculate and analyze, something that's encouraged in the U.S., although not necessarily in most other countries.

Go for it, no one is stopping you. But as a member here it's my prerogative to say you're full of it. That's also encouraged in the US.
