Beware the latest ads- ALL featuring white males doing cool assertive stuff

This entire shift, was forecast on pol- from backing off woke agendas at companies to changing mil recruiting narratives to pushing more "populist" DC to the front- to lure back in the disaffected and distrusting general white and latino public to supporting political candidate IN the system and then backing a "patriotic" war.

I get the feeling that a growing amount of people are aware that fighting for the US military means that you are little more than cannon fodder for the rich and their wars.

Money isn't any good if you are physically wounded or suffering form PTSD. Plus most people have heard the stories of the poor quality of VA medical care. Finally, a conventional war with Russia or China means that a new recruit is far more likely to be a casualty than the colonial War on Terror.

As some military analysts have also pointed out, the current administration has done a great job of alienating and demonizing the largest traditional pool of recruits - white males, especially in the South. When you have veterans who represent a long family history of military service urging their own offspring not to join, the result is a serious self-own.

I really like the Forrest Gump (1994) character Lt Dan Taylor, played by Gary Sinise. "His ancestors have died in every U.S. war and he regards it as his destiny to do the same. After losing his legs in an ambush and being rescued against his will by Forrest, he is initially bitter and antagonistic toward Forrest for denying him his family's destiny."

They did some innovative digital effects to remove the actor's legs.

Yeah, I liked that character as well. Kind of gave new meaning to "sea legs."
