Some additional tweets I didn't feel like posting individually.

The war raging in Israel was 100% provoked and a long time brewing. Like the current Russia-Ukraine conflict, many have been warning of this for a very long time. Israel has been subjugating and torturing an entire group of people for decades. How long did anyone think they could go before rising up to defend themselves. War is horrendous. I am horrified by all who die on both sides of any war. Israel needs to get serious about negotiating a genuine good faith peace agreement with Palestine or this will happen again and again.

When Israeli attacks kill civilians, it’s because Hamas uses human shields.

When Russian attacks kill Ukrainian civilians, it’s because the evil Russians target them.

Reality: in modern warfare, the vast majority of the suffering is borne by civilians

When was the last time any country won a war it could be proud of? It doesn’t happen anymore, modern conditions don’t allow for it. Either the victory is an indecisive half-measure, or else the awful things you do to win for real break the morale of your own population.

It's possible to object to a military attack without turning off your brain and robotically repeating the nonsense "unprovoked" talking point, but nobody should expect Congress to grasp this [pictures of basically identical tweets, and more stuff in the thread]

White people heard that “72 virgins” story after 9/11, and that psychosexual shit switches on like the Winter Soldier activation code any time Palestinians do anything except lay down and die for the cameras

Calm is when Gaza is bombed, villages are invaded, homes are bulldozed, journalists are shot, ambulances are attacked, mosques are vandalized, schools are tear-gassed, and Palestinians are massacred

Calm shattered is when Palestinians finally respond

The weaponization of pacifism by the ruling class brainwashed the populace into thinking it’s morally wrong to resist your violent occupier

The ruling class tells us violence is never the answer meanwhile they solve all their problems with violence and murder

Decolonize your mind and stop allowing the ruling class to set our rules of engagement

Major weapons manufacturers' stock prices are all surging.

They're clearly anticipating making a killing off all the killing. [Pictures]

The US and Europe want everyone to believe that pacifism is the only legitimate answer because they want a total unchecked monopoly on violence.

Did the US/Europe become rich and powerful and maintain their chokehold on global politics through peaceful diplomacy?

ICYMI Two former IDF soldiers and veterans gleefully speak and laugh about the crimes and atrocities they and their cohorts committed against Palestinian people, including murder and rape with such ease, as if simply recalling their best, youthful times.

Now tell me Palestinians haven’t been provoked to defend themselves. [Video]

[No text, Video made in response to the false claim that IDF don't rape Palestinian women or molest Palestinian children, showing that actually, yes they do and routinely]

Learning that Benjamin Netanyahu actively supported Hamas in order to undermine Palestine is so extraordinarily horrifying, I don't know what to say. From Haaretz https://archive.ph/H8LSL

"Gaza is a cage, is the biggest prison in the world. Nobody spoke about lifting the siege. People who live 70[17] years in a cage want to resist, and if they have the possibility they'll do it..."

Israeli journalist Gideon Levy speaking on BBC News.

Gideon Levy in Ha'aretz:

You can't imprison two million people without it exacting a cruel price.

Rough Google Translation attached., thanks to @jsternweiner

Gideon Levy: “Behind all this lies Israeli arrogance; the idea that we can do whatever we like, that we’ll never pay the price and be punished for it. We’ll carry on undisturbed.

We’ll arrest, kill, harass, dispossess and protect the settlers busy with their pogroms. We'll visit Joseph’s Tomb, Othniel’s Tomb and Joshua’s Altar in the Palestinian territories, and of course the Temple Mount – over 5,000 Jews on Sukkot alone.

We’ll fire at innocent people, take out people’s eyes and smash their faces, expel, confiscate, rob, grab people from their beds, carry out ethnic cleansing and of course continue with the unbelievable siege of the Gaza Strip, and everything will be all right.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu bears very great responsibility for what happened, and he must pay the price, but it didn’t start with him and it won’t end after he goes. We now have to cry bitterly for the Israeli victims, but we should also cry for Gaza.

Gaza, most of whose residents are refugees created by Israel. Gaza, which has never known a single day of freedom”.

This is who Tulsi has always been: a Hindu Nationalist Zionist Islamophobe. As a PSYOP officer who has trained with IDF, there is no way in hell she’s not aware of Hamas origins & usefulness.🤮 [Pictures]

As a Netanyahu supporter, there is also no chance in hell she’s not fully briefed on Israel fascist zionist strategy, tactics & goals to complete ethnic cleansing genocide & annexation of Gaza, West Bank & Jerusalem. [More pictures]

After seeing the Professional Managerial Class left completely throw Palestinians under the bus and deny their right to resist their violent occupier, I hope you guys understand why RBN been going so hard at these frauds

They are not our friends, they will quickly sell us out to maintain their position in their social club. As shown with how they weaponized pacifism on behalf of the ruling class against Palestinians

The PMC will watch you die while telling you not to fight back

Then they will write an article about your struggle and how much they supported it, making a ton of money off your name

Rinse and repeat that process until the struggle is lost

RBN calling out these PMC frauds never was left infighting

People minds are just so colonized and they been trained by civility politics, that when many saw RBN call out these PMC leftists their first response was to criticize us for “starting drama”

[Responding to previous thread] The signs were there that many of them were willing to support Palestinians as long as they are the cute, polite victims .. I’m not surprised at all

Where was the western media and many of the politicians and celebs when Israeli soldiers violently attacked Palestinians inside Al-Aqsa mosque during Ramadan? 🤔

/#FreePalestine #GazaUnderAttack

The West's view on the illegal occupation of Palestine, forcing them to live in apartheid and the violence waged against them for decades by Israel. "Who cares they're animals and savages"

The West's view of Palestinians fighting back "Kill all of them, everyone in Gaza"

When Black or brown ppl resist or fight their oppression, suddenly the issue becomes "too complicated" for ppl to stand in solidarity with them. The same is not true when white nations take up arms w/ the financial support of the same nations condemning the Black + brown ppl.

.@AymanM: "The amount of mental and post traumatic stress disorder, mental trauma, that a generation of Palestinians have been living through cannot even be fathomed, cannot even be described. And that's the generation that is 15 years old." #TheReidOut

What does Israel's occupation of Palestinians look like?

This former Israeli soldier told @dena how the Israeli army controls every aspect of Palestinians' lives. ["We will make them understand that we control their lives"]

The Israeli occupation of Palestinians involves extensive control and oppression.

Over the past 50 years, Amnesty International has documented forced evictions, demolitions, and the displacement of entire Palestinian communities, while the Global Centre for the Responsibility to Protect highlights the illegal occupation of Palestinian territories by Israel since 1967.

Furthermore, Amnesty International reports on Israel's oppressive and discriminatory governance of Palestinians. Former Israeli soldiers from Breaking the Silence have provided testimonies revealing the harsh realities faced by Palestinians under Israeli control, including the use of facial recognition technology at military checkpoints in the occupied West Bank. To learn more, refer to the following sources:

  1. Amnesty International - "Israel's Occupation: 50 Years of Dispossession"

  2. Global Centre for the Responsibility to Protect - "Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territory"

  3. Amnesty International - "Human Rights in Israel and Occupied Palestinian Territories"

  4. Breaking the Silence - Former Israeli soldiers' testimonies

  5. Amnesty International - "Israeli Authorities Using Facial Recognition to Entrench Apartheid"

It is crucial to address this ongoing issue of extensive control by the Israeli army and work towards a resolution.

[thread]

There are infinite reasons why the Black freedom struggle and Palestinian freedom struggle are directly linked, and I wanted to share some of them bc I think many Black people (especially Black USians) are more quiet about Palestine than we ought to be. (1/6)

Israel directly contributed to the increasing militarization of the US police. The NYPD’s “Demographics Unit” was modeled on their practices, ICE meets with (and receives $/tech from) Israel to surveil US borders, and thousands of US police received training in Israel. (2/6)

The US gives over $4 billion to Israel every year and is removing resources from poor Black communities to fund the US war machine. Even tear gas used on Palestinians was the same tear gas used on protestors in 2020. Both struggles are against racism and colonial violence. (3/6)

There is a LONG history of Black-Palestinian solidarity. Angela Davis, Malcolm X, Nelson Mandela, Muhammad Ali, and more expressed their support for the Palestinian people. SNCC ran a 1967 newsletter about colonialism in Palestine and linked Black and Palestinian activism. (4/6)

I also remember that during the protests of 2020, Palestinians sent messages of solidarity to Black USians, held protests of their own for us, and told us how to neutralize tear gas and fight against common police tactics. (5/6)

“Black solidarity with Palestine allows us to understand the nature of contemporary racism more deeply.” – Angela Davis

"We know too well that our freedom is incomplete without the freedom of the Palestinians." -Nelson Mandela (6/6)

*@jjz1600:

Outrageous: the US deletes two statements calling for “ceasefire” or to “refrain from violence & retaliatory attacks,” replacing them w/ all out support for whatever Israel wants to do. We are not a solution. We are the enabler of occupation & escalation. Thousands more will die [Pictures]

Let me be crystal clear- as a jewish grandchild of holocaust survivors I am always on the side of the people imprisoned in Ghettos and not on the incredibly armed and modern army who serves as their jailers. You're not going to be able to bully me into another opinion.

I don't want anyone to die but I also won't participate in contextless haranguing of military strategy launched from a Ghetto. Whether it's Jewish partisans during WWII or, yes, even Hamas. Whether or not I, a Jewish writer living in NY, criticize Hamas is irrelevant

The only thing that truly matters coming from a U.S. citizen is whether you are truly against the occupation and want to see it ended- including through ending U.S. aid to Israel- or whether you don't. The rest is just noise.

If you’re posting that you care about the lives of all people in the Middle East, but only post when Israelis are killed and not when Palestinians are killed, please ask yourself why. 1/2

If you’re condemning Hamas as terrorists who murder the innocent but not condemning Israel’s defense minister for inflicting collective punishment against innocent people, especially children, whom he calls “human animals” who will be dealt with “accordingly” as yourself why.

It's the hypocrisy that gets us. No one bats an eye when Israel commits crime after crime, taking more land and kidnapping Palestinian children in the middle of the night for throwing a rock at a tank. No one ever says a word about all of the war crimes Israel has committed - ever. It's the hypocrisy we see that Israel can do whatever it wants and no one says a word, but if someone decides to fight back against all that has been taken from them - "shame on them! Terrorists!" It's not a good thing what Hamas did. Killing innocent people is never right - but why the fuck doesn't anyone call out Israel when they constantly do it? How many IDF snipers have killed children? How IDF bombs have wiped out entire families? The fucked up thing is, all Israel has to say is "they were terrorists." The Israeli government has dehumanized the Palestinian people to the point of their own leaders calling Palestinians "nothing but animals". People keep saying that "Israel is the only democracy in the middle east." It's not a democracy, it's a Zionist Theocracy.

WHAT IS THE SOLUTION?

There is no solution. It's all pushed by hatred, religion, racism, and stupidity.

Who do they think they're doing this for?!!

Did they ever do it for the thousands of innocent Palestinians slaughtered in Gaza by Israeli airstrikes in the past few years?

Did they do this for 100,000 Armenians forced out of NK last week?

Why single out Israel?

The media won’t tell you Gaza is a warehouse of millions of ethnically cleansed Palestinian refugees that live trapped under brutal Israeli blockade. Here’s the forbidden historical context from #GazaFightsForFreedom: [Quoted tweet with video]

The last time Palestinians in Gaza organized ongoing mass peaceful protests they were systematically murdered by Israeli snipers. In just one day 62 people were slaughtered while Western leaders & media justified Israel’s right to massacre [Linked video]

I wonder, is Zakaria going to be simply fired or #MeTooed?

And yes, this is clearly one interview that is not what CNN would normally broadcast. Might be their plausible deniability bit that they'll point to whenever accused of being biased, while everything else is filled with pro-zionist bullshit.

MeTooed

Do these movements even have any power? I think men as a whole are taking them less and less serious.

That guy... Russel was his name I think? He continues driving his youtube channel, didn't get taken down or anything. A few years ago would've been a lot different.
