They’ve taken down the 500 biggest mountains in Appalachia. We’ve already flattened an area larger than the State of Delaware. We buried 2200 miles of rivers and streams. If you fly over that, you’ll be sick to your stomach.

The most awe inspiring parts of the purple mountains majesty of the Appalachians have been destroyed and are no more, and neither is the 🎶purple rain, purple rain🎶 that these mountains used to attract. If there’s rain still, it’s been replaced by an acid rain that causes toxic levels of mercury to be in every fish nowadays in America.
