    How gross.

    The vat of White-Out to remove white people from historic photos and paintings is where my mind was going. But I've been navigating the mindfck that is Reddit for a spell so I'm still wandering in a mental fog.

    I always thought peanut butter and jelly sandwiches were a mixed raced sandwich. I fully support their diversity, inclusion and equity.

    I like peanut butter and butter sandwiches. I usually have one every day. I like "natural" peanut butter, the kind with just two ingredients: peanuts and salt. Natural peanut butter separates, so you must stir in the oil when you open a fresh jar. This takes time, so if you're running late you get "separation anxiety".

    I never got into PB&J. My mother disapproved since the PNB adheres the jelly to your teeth, causing cavities. Similarly, we rarely had soda in the house.

    So is PB&J racist? Well, I suppose it depends on which kind of bread. If it's that grocery store white cottony stuff, then yeah it's racist particularly if it's wrapped in a baggie. Now, if it's made on Jewish rye bread or an authentic bagel, then it's ethnic. If it's natural peanut butter and butter on a fresh baguette or a fresh Dutch Crunch roll, then it's heavenly.     I don't remember PB&J sandwiches growing up. I do remember my brother introducing us to PB and banana sandwiches when I was in high school. Sounded a little odd to me at the time but then my mother sometimes made us pineapple sandwiches so it wasn't too much of a stretch. And actually it was one of the least odd of his sandwich variations.

    Apparently this goes all the way back to 2016. If you do a Google search, 90% of the stories are "CONSERVATIVES POUNCE!" Parsing every word, excusing every stupid idea. It's not idpol lunatics doing something looney that offends the media, it's that anyone dared to notice.
