I don't feel the bannings were heavy handed by Reddit standards, but that's a different culture.

Bannings? Don't bannngs mean that one cannot make a comment somewhere?

This pseudo-nuanced understanding is a legacy of the moral bankruptcy of Reddit's admin culture of censorship. Reddit sanctioned the criminalization of free speech. Everyone does what they can to survive in these circumstances.

It's conditioned behavior. The result of institutionalized abuse by aggressive censorship.

I'm not criticizing the mods in any personal way. I try to understand their circumstances, which are probably worse than ever before. WotB is in self-exile.
Previous "allies" have betrayed them for personal gain.

They've volunteers, and they've been literally sold out for profit.

I'm completely sympathetic. I'm trying to build bridges.

Reddit admin aggressively censores certain ideas for a reason.
TPTB are afraid of the public learning/knowing the facts, and recognizing the truth.

Ideas that are censored should be thoroughly investigated.

Censored topics are often an indication of suppressed facts that should be recognized and understood.

Here's a thought that most haven't considered.

Are you aware of any museums in Europe that are dedicated to the native American genocide?

There may be one or two, but they're not common place institutions.
I think we'd all agree to this general assumption. The crimes occurred in the Americas, and memorials belong here, and not in Europe.

Following on this notion: Why are there so many Holocaust museums all over the US???

The truth can be identified by the absence of evidence that should exist.

Here a concrete method of investigation that anyone can do.

Find an encyclopedia that was printed before 1960, but after 1945, and look for an article about the Armenian genocide. You're almost certain to find it.

Now use the same texts to look up the Holocaust.

Do this yourself, and don't take anyone else word for it.

The facts as they were before censorship and revisionism took hold.
Don't hate the messenger.

Due to an overly long relationship with a narcissistic, habitually-lying gaslighter, I made sure to unwire most of those "buttons" that most people have, that some will attempt to exploit. So, statements such as:

In case you haven't noticed, or forgot I already said it, I do not have control of the Turtle Button.
So, I do not have The Turtle. Therefore I do have to "stand up on [my] own two feet, and fight." If you want to look at it that way.

Why do you view it as fighting? You seem to have all this warfare framing in your speech.

For example, this "suing for peace" that you keep saying that you are trying to do.

I was interested in a bit of disambiguation on your use of the term. In the warfare framing that you seem to fall back on, "suing for peace" tends to have four main definitions:

  • Negotiations for the conditions to cease hostilities, sued for by one who has the ability to cease the aforementioned hostilities
  • Negotiations to begin the negotiations
  • A surrender, with a request for terms of the surrender, or
  • A demand for the other side to surrender, and obey.

Which of those four is closest to your "suing for peace"?

It would not look too good on your part if you actually meant one of those definitions but allowed everyone here to make the assumption that you meant one of the others....
