Since it's mainstream news, the Japanese article still encourages everyone to get their third shot. 😕(Full disclosure: I have not received any of the shots first pushed on us Americans by Donald Trump, and I thank the Lord I am healthy.)

I wonder if it was because the Japanese nurse who administered this vaccine didn't clean the needle. This is a huge problem in Asian countries. You will hear stories of a bunch of kids getting HIV because they didn't clean the needles.
