You know what gets me? If some dudes said the same thing about women probably the same fucking chicks would be screaming "misogyny!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Come to think of it, political lesbianism has been a thing for what at least 50 fucking years and it generally passes without comment and its basically "I hate men so much I will on purpose try and realign/change my sexuality" (so much born this way huh?) which can only be put as a hate ideology vs the civilisation ending MGTOW which is frankly a much wider range of opinions which all boil down to "fuck it I'm out" to varying degrees...

their whole bag is "I can be irrational, shrewish, two-faced, and use your private details to publicly humiliate you! not you! SKREEEEE!" remember when someone asked for a men's center with 1% the funding of the women's and they screamed until they turned puce? they'd only agree if the women's center ran it and the students seeking help were told in no uncertain terms their problems were smaller than any woman's and it was their own fault for being male

I feel so sorry for her husband

Someone should share that post with him.

Spoken like the guy isn't so totally broken that he ended up with her in the first place by going with the "I'm not handsome, I'm not skilled, I'm not charismatic, I have nothing going for me- so if you marry me just so I have someone to hold my hand while I die, I'll let you abuse me for life just so you get the joy of breaking a man because honestly, dying alone is like being abused by the world."

Man... You people need to lighten up! He's obviously with her in the hope that she'll bring home another lesbian and he can show her why her body is pre-disposed to cock, awakening her huger for meat and exploding her world with colours she never knew she could taste!

No, no, you're feeding into a paradox there. If the guy was with her for that reason, then it'd be a "high-value" man who could get someone better than her in about a minute, but who chose to settle for her instead in the hopes he gets threesomes out of it...but if she had a "high-value man", then she has her trophy and wouldn't bother.

Woah, now, your maths is off! Maybe she's so low value she can't get a high value dude, and he's an average man and she's shooting way above her pay grade because of the possibility of the lesbian conversion. Look, I'll do a ven diagram...

[–]LyingSpirit472 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

But that's the point for the math:

We can say:

x marks the value of this low value woman here, which remains standard.

x+1 would merit this woman's new value if she agreed to dabble in lesbianism and introduces the possibility to a male partner of "if you date me, I might agree to bring another girl into the bedroom and you'll get threesomes."

y marks the value of the man in this instance- a value that has no change from this new piece of data and thus is static.

The conclusions:

If y > x+1, then the woman is with a higher value man than her, and thus she's got her trophy. She would not care to do this and risk losing what she had.

If y < x, then the man is inherently a cuck who would be so beaten down by society he' would not care if she said this because he's chosen to be broken down by her. He would not care if she did this because he's so broken he'd just accept it.

The only way this changes anything is If y > x by 1 or less, in which case the lower value woman, now queer, would now be of equal value to her dude...and thus, both sides would be pissed. Both people in the relationship would know they could do better- both the man (he could either get another woman at a lower value than him who'd kiss the ground that he walked on instead of this person who resents him) and the woman (who has now added enough to her value she could presumably convince a higher value man to settle for her.)

You started with maths and ended with psychology, the least useful and demonstrable or provable "Science" that has ever existed. I think you've covered all the bases.

I like the one woman who thinks a lesbian relationship would be devoid of things like "getting interrupted" or "a partner having expectations of you". I guess narcissism makes the grass on the other side evergreen.

Political lesbianism is funny because it's like Lysistrata diluted to the power of 1000. No straight woman has ever seriously considered it, but they float the idea once in a blue moon basically to amuse themselves at how poorly they communicate with men.

Probably les-bots astroturfing the sheep.

Or a confused trans-larp.

Or someone sliding merrily along the path that leads to the FDS sub, which is a cesspool of "men bad, here's how to treat them like trash" thinking.

Wasn't it banned? I think they have all but successfully corralled the last of the bitter loveless radfems onto Ovarit where no one gives a shit what they say.

No idea, I really don't follow Reddit drama much any more, so I'm not up on which subs are still given a pass on egregious behavior.

There is definitely a biological phenomenon where some women turn lesbian in their 40s and 50s as their hormones decline. I think a lot of these political lesbians have that but want to pretend it's a super special and intelligent choice they are making rather than a change happening to them which they can't do anything about.

I hear the opposite from my gay friends. Say that gay men generally are just gay their whole lives but lesbians tend to go straight when they get older. Though I think that begs to question whether the person was actually homosexual or identified as a lesbian because they just don't like men. (And then change their mind about the lesbian thing when they meet their Mr. Right)

I think there may be a concept of, I guess over sexualization of pop culture as well? Pop culture seems to focus on sex a lot more than I think the average person cares about it. So I think some of the kids growing up these days get confused because the television and the internet is telling them they should be turned on 24/7 but that's not very common (some people are hypersexual but I think it's a minority) so they are like "hmm this guy is attractive but I'm just not into him, must be gay"

I got pretty sick of shit when I was younger of random people questioning if I was gay or asexual or something because I wasn't interested in people. No everything works the way it should and I'm not interested in homosexual relationships. I just like spending time with my gay friends because they are fun, and I'm not interested in casual sex with randos. Yes that girl is very attractive, but that doesn't mean I want to actually be in a relationship with her. There's more to relationships than looks, or sex.
