Aside from the obvious fact that the crime stats are getting destroyed by this stuff it's also an example of where the "violence against transgender people" comes from. Number 1 is prostitution related violence, number 2 is domestic violence so most likely trans on trans violence. They always frame it as if the general public is just randomly attacking them on the streets.

It's gotten so I can't trust news stories to tell the truth anymore. I was reading about the social justice activist in the US who was killed allegedly by a woman who was stalking a woman friend of his. You don't often hear about female stalkers, let alone violent ones. Was it a troon? No pictures, so no way to know.
