Thanks for y’all’s understanding

Tell me you're an intersectionalist without telling me you're an intersectionalist.

Unless the y’all is accompanied by an appropriate accent, I get an almost overwhelming desire to make myself the subject of a true crime podcast.

Weird how the same people who've been calling everyone Nazis for the past decade are also the same people who seem to hate Jews so much they're taking the other side - a side full of people who would absolutely kill them for their progressive views if given the chance.

Yes, they use compassion as their weapon and shield to push through their nonsense, but when push comes to shove they prove they have none of it. It's all about power.

Reminds me of a YT comedy skit I saw, with a racist and progressive finding friendship over the points of view that they share

Reminds me of the two minute hate. People cheering over the footage of poor fucks getting blown to pieces, some guy comes on with a measured response and they all just boo him without listening. All over some piece of land a world away that's kept in a constant state of war but never one of victory.

Looks like her boss is an anti-semite Ku Klux Klan nigra hater.

This Hamas support has got to be causing some cognitive dissonance in the woke mob, I wonder if they'll finally have an "are we the baddies" moment.

I doubt it...

it's also colliding with the "anti-Semitism is bad mmkay" factions in a most hilarious way

No, this is the same crowd of people who essentially venerate anyone non-white and vilify everyone else, and Jews are definitely and firmly in the "everyone else" category, except when there's a need for the gold star anti-Nazi prop to be paraded around. Add in their precious decolonization cause, and there's absolutely no way the Jews in general or Israel specifically can be anything but the villain in their worldview.

The most that you might get out of them, and this is confined only to the few that haven't yet had their basic decency ground away by the echo chamber, is that Israel is separate from the Jews, and condemning the former isn't the same as hating the latter.

Remember how everyone was jumping up to make sure that those poor little Harvard innocents didn't suffer career consequences for their support of Hamas? Guess that willingness to defend doesn't extend to the people losing work over pro-Israel opinions.

More need to realize: Hamas wants you dead too. If they win, they're going to kill you too- but they don't care because it's about making Mommy and Daddy hurt. If these people truly support Hamas, then please, for the love of God, kill themselves solely to make their work one person easier.

What did she actually tweet though? I imagine it wasn't that big of a deal.

I don't have a Twitter account, so I can't give you everything that she put out on the matter, but here's a few:

Yeah those are the pretty standard position of most people. I might argue on the way some of that is framed if i were in the same room as her, specifically that people like her tend to straw man that "you support Hamas" if you have a tiny nugget of criticism against Likud.

On her ability to just have an opinion separate from her work life that should always be the case for everyone.

surprised nobody's badgered Timothee Chalamet for his opinion on murderous monotheists vs. a gerontocratic hyperpower

Didn't she gloat about getting some taxi driver fired for being a Trump supporter? It seems she's just getting a taste of her own medicine.

No idea if she did that or not. But it's less about her specifically losing her job over this, and more about the pretty blatant hypocrisy of her getting the same kiss-of-death career treatment for speaking her piece, but not getting anywhere the near the same defense. If it had happened to someone other than her, I'd have mentioned them instead.
