I had an autistic boy in one of my classes, and he was a danger to others for exactly this sort of behaviour.

In the end he was sent off to special school, but whilst he was in my class he could never be left alone with other children, especially the very young children - this meant he had to watched like a hawk during recess because he was huge for a 9 year old and, when he didn’t get his way he was prone to rages too.

I had to restrain him once and, bear in mind that he was 9 and I’m a large man, I struggled to get him under control - a little child would have no chance.

If you have a special needs child, parents and/or carers need to be aware of them at all times and especially so around vulnerable children because it doesn’t take more than a few seconds for a “Lenny moment” to occur. This little kid was lucky, being suspended by the neck is super dangerous.

The cop is an idiot.

Edit: I’ve had lots of autistic children in my classes, but only two were violent and only one of those was dangerous. The most dangerous child I’ve had didn’t have autism and was a girl (she had other mental health issues and was a danger to everyone including herself). Sorry if I gave anyone the impression that I thought having autism meant you were dangerous or a risk to others.

We don't really know what autism is, it's basically a label we've created to categorize any number of mental health conditions that appear similar but may or may not even be the same thing.

Normal people are want to categorize it all by one example of course. But it's important to keep in mind the individual. You can't let mental health conditions be an excuse to allow dangerous behavior.

I've known autistic people who are perfectly harmless, just hopeless in social situations. I have a friend like that. He's known to basically just say something inappropriate and not realize it from time to time. He's also totally understanding of the fact he has autism and is pretty easy to get along with since you can just, tell him that the thing was inappropriate and he'll stop. Good guy, very mature about it.

Alternatively I've known a couple of non-verbal types who have a preferred communication method of violence.

I'm not sure why we consider both conditions to be autism frankly. They seem very different to me.

The reason: they apparently didn't think Asperger's was a good enough term for the former because...uh, somehow it was mean to put them as separate from the "they're non-verbal, they will basically be a adult-sized baby for their entire life" type of autistic. Not sure why since the former will be disabled, but has a chance to live their own life and the latter will never be able to function on their own.

I suppose it may well be differing severities of the same condition but I don't think we even know what causes it so it's hard for me to say it is. All I can say is what was formerly known as Asperger's syndrome seems a lot different to me than full on non-verbal autism. Some similarities between them but, well it's not like you can't point out similarities between a normal human and a complete autistic.

Like a complete autistic might have a insensitivity to certain sounds. But if I rack my fingernails across the chalkboard then diagnose the entire class with autism I doubt anyone would buy that diagnosis.

There used to be physical aspects for diagnosing Asperger's such as strange way of crawling when a baby. It was clearly a specific developmental disorder. That wasn't liked by people diagnosing themselves with mild autism because they are crap at social skills.

Those retarded cops and autismo parents behavior and ignorance will be the downfall of that teen. Next time some parent won't wait for an explanation and simply will beat his ass or worse.

That autistic teen will probably end up in some assisted living or care facility, if he’s behaving like that now there’s no way he will be able to look after himself and his parents will rapidly find they can’t look after him.

Agreed though with this sort of behavior that assisted living or care facility is likely to be a penitentiary.

Most of them are better-looking than average (aside from putting little effort into it), plenty aren't incels, and plenty are foids.
