The “relationship” was during or just post the filming of Juno, long before trans was even a thing most people had ever heard of, so I’m not sure what the issue is.

Page is desperate to make money now as Hollywood, for all its wokeness, doesn’t seem to want to cast a live ventriloquist dummy in a movie.

I had the same thought. And rather than being told “hey maybe just accept that you’re gay and get some therapy to deal with your grief”, she was encouraged to troon out instead.

I do wonder what Kate and Olivia have to say about all this. I do note they've been rather quiet about the whole thing.

I feel like everything about 'Elliot' is a house of cards that everyone is too afraid to poke around too much lest it collapse and they get branded transphobic.
