If the shops are empty you don't need any shopping bags.

Makes prefect sense.

Haha…she thinks she won’t be purged after the Glorious People’s Revolution.

They never think that. These are the people who are sublimely convinced of their own value to the hypothetical new regime that they yearn for. That their support--which may extend so far as to masking up and throwing a rock from the anonymous safety of the crowd--and their "intellectual" contributions will merit them a position of comfort and safety from which they never have to break a sweat in actual labor and can indulge all of their little hobbies (and perversions, because you just know they have plenty of those) at no expense to themselves.

These are the kind of revolutionaries that real revolutionaries (like the late and unlamented Che) absolutely adore, because they'll happily assist in tearing down the current system that lets them exist to begin with, and they'll never see it coming (or effectively resist even if they do) when they get rounded up for their turn against the wall or relocation to the labor camps.

Yeah, useful idiots. As soon as they’re no longer useful they get liquidated. Similarly, anyone with too much revolutionary zeal, competence or popularity needs to get got too.

Seriously, they need to crack open some history books and see what their beloved heroes like Lenin and Mao did when they got their hands on real, actionable power. The first batch of targets might have been the "bourgeoisie," yes. But the second (and, oftentimes, third, fourth, and fifth) were always their fellow revolutionaries. Always conveniently labeled as "counter-revolutionaries" or "enemies of the people."

But that doesn't come to them because your original post didn't go far enough. People like this aren't just sublimely convinced of their own value to the new regime, they have gone past that, past even "they truly believe", and went screaming to "they cannot possibly fathom a result of the revolution that is not them, personally, ending up in complete power." Like, there's an infinite infinities worth of multiverses, including multiverses made by positing this occurrence, and in their mind not a single one ends without them as the all-powerful ruler.

They will never care what Lenin and Mao did when they took power because there is not a single shred of doubt in their mind that when the revolution happens, they will BE Lenin or Mao.

Let’s not forget those dangerous glasses wearers!

Pol Pot knew how to deal with them just fine.

'Destroy capitalism' or some variant ought to be a square on Trans Bingo. I assume it resonates with these people because they're accustomed to being underemployed and having everything handed to them, and they think this is the way life is in a communist paradise.

Anime profile pic, because of course it would be. Absolutely guaran-fucking-teed that this kind of long-winded, pseudo-intellectual drivel will be accompanied by an anime pfp, a dangerhair pfp, or a soycuck pfp.

So, when confronted with a situation where there’s mot a black or white type answer, their brains short circuit and they go straight to “let’s tear it all down because this one thing doesn’t make sense to me”.

These are the same people who insist they are the smart set.

“We need to destroy capitalism!”

“Also, watch my Funko Pop unboxing videos!”

Or.... "What type of reusable bag would you like?" "It doesn't matter. It's going into the garbage anyhow."

No need for grocery bags if you just starve to death

Everything made so much sense for so long. "There are no easy answers" seemed to be the sentiment the entire way, until the very wrong, but cheap and easy answer conclusion.

Yeah...does this person believe under communism, people don't need to carry large amounts of things and would need one thing that would make it easier to carry those things?

Don't forget "riduculous government-induced flip-flops", where 'Sustainable™ Green® Re-Usable© Bags' were banned during the Plan-demic, and all the hipster stores had to re-install racks of plastic bags "for sanitation!".
