Racing for women is already a very stupid concept. I can't think of any legitimate reason why women should feel excluded from a regular non sexually targeted racing sim. I can't think of a good argument for the typical racing sim to be targeted towards men either unless you want to pretend that cars are already an innately masculine interest just because more men are interested in them.

What would a women's driving game even be except a promotion of trite sexist stereotypes? Will we have bad woman driving simulator? Or perhaps freeway makeup studio where the goal is to apply eyeliner while changing lanes?

I reckon you could make a reasonably fun game based on the premise of driving as badly as possible so that you cause other people to get into accidents without actually getting into accidents yourself. You could probably rope it into a larger "Karen Simulator" where the goal is to go around and be an obnoxious twat to everyone. Could see that concept having some entertainment value.

Yeah I miss these silly arcade games. These days everything has gone over to the phones and arcades are all like fake gambling centers and crane games and shit.

I went to one of those barcade style places in the states and they wanted like $4 for a single game of Pacman, what the fuck.

There's no reason to assume that all men would be interested in racing and no reason why women can't be interested in it.

The problem here is people like to conflate statistical likelihood with "gender".

There is an underlying biological trend between the sexes that can explain it. Men tend to be more interested in motion than women who tend to be more interested in details, this can be argued as an evolutionary adaptation from humans days as hunter gatherers, there's a sex based argument as to why the statistical disparity exists. I don't think you can take that and claim that an interest in race cars as innately masculine anymore than you can claim an interest in cooking is innately female.

I don't disagree with any of your points except that the "underlying biological trend" might as well be called innate. Not everyone has to fit in the box for it to be true. I like cooking, the wife likes video games, we are an outlier.

Are you sure that's not mostly social? It seems those disparities are much smaller for kids, who have yet to develop much identity around their gender. As they get older they want to force themselves to like what will make them accepted.

I played a game developed by a woman once. This was critically acclaimed and being pushed heavily on the Xbox marketplace. It was horrible and was mostly some annoying preachy woman complaining about how hard her life was and how miserable and depressed she felt. It was terrible.
