We definitely need more research on how exogenous testosterone use impacts babies. I believe that many of the East German women who were doped with testosterone suffered miscarriages and had babies with birth defects. I can't imagine it's benign. You'd think this would be a bit of a research priority, since it's becoming so much more common.

I think the problem here would be that any research would be unethical.

I think an easy way to test this would be to sample the breast milk of this "exceptional individual" and compare it to that of a normal woman. And see if there is any difference such as an excess of testosterone.

I don't think the results on a baby would be so benign as the baby being stacked.

By 'research', I mean simply document the effects of testosterone on the pregnancy/ baby. I expect we'll find out one way or another in the next few years.

You're talking about the ones who got dosed as part of their Olympic training, right?

IIRC, the end effect was so bad for some of them that one or two actually ended up transitioning to male because they weren't (physiologically) capable of functioning as women anymore.

Those girls were only given enough steroids to improve their athletic performance. Modern "transmen" are prescribed much higher doses so they can grow shitty beards. Now remember that your average tumblrina is nowhere near as fit and healthy as an Olympian and you can see this disaster coming from miles away.
