People were telling you this was gonna happen and it's obvious and stupid as giving a small child a loaded gun and acting surprised if they accidentally shoot someone. Basically it's so fucking obvious that anyone who would allow it probably needs to be kept in the same cell for the maintenance of public safety.

There has never, in the history of humanity, been a system--religious, social, political, or whatever else--that hasn't (sooner or later) been gamed to the advantage of those who have absolutely no morals, no ethics, and no concern for the well-being and good of anyone but themselves. And that's true even of systems which have checks in place to stop (or, at least, reduce the effectiveness of) that sort of shit.

But when your system is basically nothing more than "I feel like an 'X', therefore I am an 'X', and I should be accorded all of the 'rights' granted to 'X'?" For fuck's sake, it's like throwing a bucket full blood and chunks into the water, and then being shocked when sharks show up! You could not craft a more appealing vehicle for abuse by the malignant parts of the population if you made a deliberate, planned effort.

One of the stats that the Home Office gets a little cagey on is that as of 2019, of the 129 transwomen in the prison estate in England & Wales (Scotland and NI have their own separate stats) 76 were sex offenders that’s 58.9%.

58.9% of transgender identified prisoners were sex offenders. Compared to 16.8% of male prisoners and 3.3% of female prisoners.

I don't know about you, but I'd be trying every trick under the sun to make sure I don't get put in the same group as paedophiles. If there were a disproportionate spate of brunette sex offenders, I'd be telling everyone they're probably all dye jobs
