So a forum devoted to combating the 'patriarchy' dedicates threads to persecuting a woman who defends the sex-based rights of women, girls and gays.

What do they think 'patriarchy' means?

The same thing everyone else who unironically uses the word thinks it means: "things that I don't like/disagree with"
