There was boy band, One Direction I think, that had some really insane--to the point where the members themselves actually became unpleasantly aware of it--gay shipping going on with its members, and almost all of it from women.

Shit, weren't there examples of at least two members of the band who were good friends and enjoyed hanging out together, who had to stop hanging out because of all the shipping?
