"Involuntarily celibate females" don't really exist in modern society. When war causes a large percentage of the men to die in a population, I could see this occurring. Obese Sally-Ann wanting to get with Brad Pitt and refusing all other suitors is a different situation all together. I think I have heard of communities like this before (e.g. Where have all the good men gone?).

All you need to do in this life is think things through. Just think through. We are not fucking men. We don't trick ourselves into thinking being used for sex by men who find us too ugly for respect =self actualization. Some femcels are literally medically deformed and many of us refuse to engage in sexual activity with people outside of a real relationship. Why? Sadly our culture programs us to value women as sex objects and men as success objects.

I admit that I am not seeking any relationships now because not only would it be unfair to her, but also myself. I don't want to keep wishing she was better, or her that I was. I will never consider myself an incel. I'm a volcel at best and would never take that on as an identity. Things are changing for me so there's hope yet, but not much as I'm already 50.

What's the alternative of polyamory? I knew many folks in Burning Man communities from several cities who were polyamorous. Seemed too complicated, too much trouble, and too much drama. Were I stable and able I might have liked it. I did host many orgies, which is another ball of fun. That was when I was young, sexy, and single.

No one is unworthy, though some try to be.

"The One" and "love" are fiction and illusions all in the mind. People who give "unconditional love" are projecting something broken.

IMHO, do your best to earn a position of being valued and respected by your words and deeds. Work with what you've got. Not everyone has looks, wit, integrity, humour, or any number of things. Be your best self and put that out there.

Maintain hope, but don't build it up unrealistically. Cultivate the best life you can for yourself by yourself, and if something else happens prepare for the worst and hope for the best and be ready to roll with the changes that will come with that as nothing ever goes according to plan.

I don't know you, so all of that is vague. If you are serious, you'll write out a list of qualities and things you're after (not superficial or material) and take steps to be in the presence of those traits (more difficult in lockdown) with signals that you're single and looking, from being subtle to as obvious as you like, such as a shirt or pin that says, "I'm single and looking."

I appreciate the effort but I really don't have the ability to be in a relationship. There is a lot that has happened that I would rather not bring up here but if you were on the subs on reddit you may know of it. I had a devastating year last year.
