Especially since we didn't get a real progressive candidate for either President or in the VP ticket, you're probably right.

Yep. There ain't really a Presidential candidate either, since Joe's gon'o immediately get 25th'd.

Who's gonna make that call, though? Even if his mind is going I think it's more likely that he acts as a placeholder for 2 years until he can resign without this counting as a term for Harris under the 22nd.

The VP and the cabinet, presumably. Though Congress has already established a commission to do it (which doesn't matter if the cabinet agrees).

Ah, yeah, I forgot about that. That's probably the plan then, wait two years, let her be president for 2, and run her for re-election twice.
