It's the logical progression of the proposed concept. Also, I posted a hilarious cismale joke a couple of months ago.

Wizzwizz4 is jumping to conclusions, because he doesn't realize that we're forum buddies. This is understandable.

I don't think it would be as problematic here as it would be on Reddit - like you pointed out, it's a "slippery slope" (which I really don't see as a fallacy, at least not how it's used by concerned people around here). People around here aren't as disgusting and NPC level as Reddit and I don't think it would be as abused and evolved as it would be there.

The only thing that could defeat post highlighting is vote manipulation - which is against the rules and being monitored - so I don't see how it would be THAT bad.

At some point, if SaidIt grows enough then others will be needed to fill admin positions. There's no way to know how rules may be interpreted (manipulated) in the future, etc.
