It would be cool if we could vote for posts being "spam": if difference between "this is spam" votes and "this is not spam" votes from established users > 5 then "remove as spam".

Well in case some post which is obviously not spam was upvoted as spam, users which upvoted it should lose spam-voting privileges, also there should be a high karma minimum to prevent easy brigading by new accounts.

I asked about something like this a year or so ago, and the reply from Vulptex was that the site has those sorts of tools, but mag7 is loathe to turn them on, let alone allow new patches to be uploaded.

There's report and block already. I dunno how often admins look at the reports but if I were an admin that would be the first place I'd look to clean up spam.
