So what? The useful idiots will just pay a higher menu price and fee to have their fatasses brought chain pizza by doordash or the like, and slower. The populace and lawmaker doesn't care a bit.

I beg to differ. The populace does care. The cost of living is so high that red folks are moving out be the hundreds of thousands. These sticks do, eventually, break the camel’s back.

I'm amazed how many people doordash or ubereats most of their meals. There are plenty of places online where people are complaining about the cost of food and if they itemize they'll include the doordash expense. We have a relative that on the weekend will have doordash deliver a single coffee from Starbucks. The delivery costs more than the coffee and she doesn't even have a job.

I bought shares in deliveroo when I was walking through a city centre at night and a couple of delivery guys were picking up food and literally walking over to the surrounding flats to deliver it. This was quite a poor place.

It’s California. Let the Commies ruin the place.

Proof again of a favorite Axiom of Life = "if you want something really fucked up then hand the problem to the government to fix".
