You're welcome. Thanks for being patient.

Not everyone was unfortunately. Saidit lost a significant amount of users during the last two months.

It's frustrating. Every time this place is doing well something happens and we're back at a level where it's difficult to sustain a critical mass for conversation and discussion.

Were they the reason I couldn't log in? I didn't get offered the tick human box. It works a lot better now, but it's still jumpy. it needs refreshing constantly but at least it doesn't keep making me in log in. Incessantly which is a great improvement.

Probably, are you using the app? I had no idea people couldn't even log in.

When it was suggested, we go to saidit, (I use the online version of both reddit, and saidit, on my fire tablet) it refused to connect. I complained to my service provider and mentioned any site using Cloudflare refused to work. Same thing with Twitter. He'd no idea - or why.

But I noticed the problem cleared up not long after.

When saidit refuses to post without refreshing, at least it allows me to cut and paste after refreshing, whereas on reddit at times everything vanished into the ether. I noticed it tended to happen when someone added a new comment.

For the last 2 days saidit seems more stable, not asking me to sign in, as it used to, even when I was signed in, because oops, it forgot within a few moments.

Glad you're back Magnora, thanks for fixing this. I wonder if you could address the saidit canary while you're around?

The canary died in the coal mine. Too many nefarious gasses.

Gas jews, not canaries.

Thanks.

BTW: I know admins who've left or are much less active because they're bored with the removal of spam (and other matters). I think automoderators are working OK in some of the subs. Though if in due course you have time to revisit the plan to include more active mods and/or admins, I think this will also help. (I've been active for almost 3 years. /u/Zapped can probably confirm who is trustworthy as a mod or admin. I can confirm who's not.)

Being patient about this nonsense too, but it's also got pretty old:
