if you want to enjoy debates at Saidit, try not to bully users who have differences in opinion, and Saidit will grow.

Agreed, plus, argue with sources and citations and rational arguments in good faith - otherwise you may be trapped by sealioning.

sealioning

That's just a buzzword used by the communists who can't answer to reality so have to come up with a name for the Socratic method.

Clearly you don't know what sealioning means. Anything can be weaponized, even "just asking questions."

Sealioning - a harassment tactic under the guise of sincerity by trolls in online discussions to pester others with repeated disingenuous questions and persistent requests for evidence for basic claims, aiming to erode the patience and goodwill of targets to make them seem unreasonable.

Oh yeah that happened to me the other day. I usually just call them a kike at that point and get on with my day.

It's still communist victim mentality however.

It's got nothing to do with /s/Communism or /s/Victimhood. It's recognizing that someone is a timesuck intentionally wasting your resources and good will with stupid questions and circular banter. Do better than just name-calling, call out their bullshit accurately.

I could never imagine that happening.
