Certainly for twitter you can use the threadreader app instead. I guess the way back machine could be used if you want to share info on facebook or YouTube.

I think it's best to just reply and let the OP now what the other options are, and maybe leave an archive link yourself, rather than banning sources especially as some important contested info is becoming quite thin on the ground at the moment.
