Dark energy might be neither particle nor field. Everything else in the universe is either a particle or field. Dark energy behaves as neither, and it may be a property inherent to space itself.

It really is kind of stupid to assume spacetime is uniform everywhere, while also capable of expanding and deforming.

Agreed, they made up dark matter because they refuse to acknowledge the flow of electricity and the magnetic fields it creates.

They can't get the math right so there has to be dark matter and dark energy out there.

Also no lepton emits a field. Which should be way more fascinating.

We also liked you to call this mass defect we as well as you can follow "mass defect" not "dark energy".

There is nothing dark about it just because we don't understand it so far.
