I have a neighbour with downs. He tries his best to be a decent person and as selfsufficient as he can be, he makes smalltalk when we do the laundry, very well adjusted person. That is great! He doesn't need to be a hot influencer or whatever. That is ridiculous and not dignified! Let them be and live in peace!

I agree ruby, I don't think anyone needs an 'influencer', but targeting a vulnerable population seems particularly exploitative and disturbing. Social media is free because you are the product, not the purchaser. This is a blatant attempt to use woke values as cover to target these people with products and advertisements, and it is despicable.

Thankyou well said. It is upsetting that they even go after the most vulnerable to comodify and profit off of them. Says a lot about the world we live in.
