Google seems to only give results that point to their own content or partners' content now. They are no longer a search engine, but just more curated content.

Who uses google? Use duckduckgo or any other search engine besides google. Why use google they are basically reddit?

I haven't really used google in years. My favorites are qwant, swisscows, and duckduckgo.

The actual content there is very valuable because it still comes from a community. I'd much rather read a faggit thread where someone asks the question I have and gets answers from humans than read a commercial "10 x with quality y" article where only generic things are mentioned.

Reddit is still wrong about a lot of stuff though. Where do you think Redditors get their information?
