Well, no shit

This is what happens when you permaban users from entire communities for making just one comment that some tranny, psycho mods dissaprove of. Reddit will just continue dying in the future because mods have too much power that they systematically abuse, which makes users just leave forever cuz it's impossible to have any debate there anymore. What's the point of posting anything if you can get immediately downvoted and permabanned for daring to having different opinion than soy hivemind.

This happens even more when at the same time you do a bad redesign of a simple-but-effective UI, ban the 3rd-party apps, and give the middle finger to anyone who tries to use the site in a mobile browser

There's still a lot of active communities. But yeah, It's still not how it once was.

After all the purges of "hateful" subreddits, I'm amazed that r/prolife is still up and running. I guess Reddit mods really do believe a fetus in the womb can be transgender!

I'm sure they're thinking about surgeries that can be performed pre-birth, so they can legitimately claim that a person was born trans...

Several years ago it became majority bot comments. It was more obvious then than it is now. The chatbots have improved.

And there's probably an order of magnitude more bots that exist purely to downvote wrongthink and upvote propaganda.

No. It's obviously still one of the few very active websites. Rather than make false comments with no evidence, provide something worth discussing: https://www.similarweb.com/website/reddit.com

Shit negro, did you actually read your link?

Avg Visit Duration: 00:08:24

Down 2 spots in the US, 1 world wide, reddit.com's traffic has decreased by 3.36% compared to last month.

Twitter is kicking Reddit's ass. https://www.similarweb.com/website/twitter.com/#overview

[–]g0ldfish 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (6 children)

I gave you something to read, nigger

OP said: "reddit is a bit 'dead' nowadays?"

3.36% EXPECTED drop due to boycots it NOT "a bit dead" ffs, on a website with 430 million regular visitors

And Reddit does NOT compare to a totally different #3 Twitter website

I give you something to talk about and you come up with this false comparison BS

BTW: Twitter lost numerous users: https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2023/jul/10/twitter-traffic-sinks-in-wake-of-changes-and-launch-of-rival-platform-threads-elon-musk

That was July before Threads fizzled.

Click the link.

Today, Twitter is ranked 38th:

A month ago it was ranked 8th:

You're just interpreting the data poorly. When threads came out everyone went to go look at the new thing, and it did take away from Twitter traffic. Then Threads tanked.

Twitter is #2 in its category. https://www.similarweb.com/website/twitter.com/#overview

[–]g0ldfish 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

You're interpreting the data poorly by comparing with UNRELATED DATA. Let me refresh your goldfish memory:

The topic was Reddit's traffic, but with no evidence

I provided evidence of Reddit traffic

You changed the topic to the UNRELATED issue of Twitter "kicking Reddit's ass", whatever that means in 5th grade.

I tell you it's unrelated and that Twitter has lost users, providing a link

You note that the data is a month old, as if that matters (because it doesn't)

I generously provide MORE evidence that Twitter continues to lose users this past month (since you apparently LOVE Elon Musk for some reason)

You change the topic once AGAIN by noting that Twitter is ranked by a different website as #2 in a small "Category Rank [of] Computers Electronics and Technology > Social Media Networks (In United States)"

That's UNRELATED to the discussion. You've got the evidence that Twitter is falling in the traffic rankings (now 38th). End of story.

Tune in next month when we have to ask you to wipe Musk's virtual splooge off your chin again and admit that there are very good reasons to abandon, or avoid much of the time, disinformation propaganda websites like Twitter.

You note that the data is a month old, as if that matters (because it doesn't)

It had to do with the whole threads thing briefly diverting traffic. I explained that.

I provided evidence of Reddit traffic

That says they're declining 😂

I generously provide MORE evidence that Twitter continues to lose users this past month (since you apparently LOVE Elon Musk for some reason)

That's what you got confused on, that doesn't show what you think it does.

I'm just repeating myself over points you didn't get the last comment.

You're the only confused one, changing the argument with each answer. Every response from you in recent weeks is confidently incorrect. There's a subreddit for you: https://www.reddit.com/r/confidentlyincorrect

Yes. That's why I'm here right now

Reddit died a long, long time ago. Fuk 'em

[–]2Monke4you 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

I deleted reddit because the users/mods turned it into Tumblr
