The basic idea of MGTOW is sound in the sense that, you need to learn to be happy with yourself first, then you can be happy with a woman afterwards.

Indeed, and I rather liked the early MGTOW sub. It's nice to have camarderie among men and to help each other work through their issues.

Yes it's nice to have that but you've got to have it in the real world rather than online. Online spaces by their very nature aren't great for socialization. It's a poor replacement for the real thing.

Male camaraderie is better achieved at the bar than the internet.
