I follow politics because I feel like I have to. I live in the US, and politics have been really intense for a long time. I actually avoid talking about lesbian/gay issues because gender always comes up and I don’t exactly agree with the general liberal consensus on it right now, and I don’t currently feel like being excommunicated. I have somehow landed myself in a social circle full of people who are very defensive about their gender identities, so I don’t think I would be able to express my point without being seen as intentionally malicious. I don’t have much of a choice who I associate with, we’re all in the same extracurricular in college. I spend a lot of time talking about other issues in politics, like wealth inequality. Recently I’ve spent a lot of time debating against the idea that the southern US is the problem, (as if we’re some kind of evil monolith? What?) as opposed to the whole US being the problem...

I follow politics and I'm trying to nail down where I fall politically exactly, but it's somewhere in the far left socialist area.

I don't think I could be politically active, at least in political organizations, as a result because leftist organizations are taken over by identity politics and culture wars. Once covid is over, I do want to make a list of material good I could do out in the world for causes I believe in and be more politically active that way, even if it just winds up being volunteering at the local animal shelter or something like that.

No, I'm no longer politically involved. Julia Beck said it best: I am politically homeless. I used to be an activist for women's rights, black people's rights and gay people's rights... or more precisely: gay black women's rights. I live near Atlanta where the majority of residents are black women, so it was easy to focus on us without white women silencing us as they've been doing since the 19th century when black women were fighting for freedom from enslavement.

I will always believe racism is far worse than sexism/misogyny which most feminist activists will never agree with since nonwhite men are victims of racism. White women will never admit that they are benefactors of racism, just like nonwhite men will never admit that they are benefactors of sexism... so fuck everyone and their politics. Both groups are the enemies of black women. Both groups want to rule alongside white men. Actually, too many women of color also want to rule alongside white men. It's sickening to see black women being celebrated for Joe Biden's win. He's a piece of shit like the presidents and vice presidents who were elected before him. White men need to be locked inside bunkers with no food nor water. What about nonwhite men, you ask? Well, white men have proven that nonwhite men can be forced into submission. Women would have to get rid of their empathy for men to force nonwhite men to submit and be useful to us. European men went into African countries and forced Africans to do whatever they were told. Surely, women can be as cruel as white men.

Why? I'm black as well and never understood this sentiment.

Surely, women can be as cruel as white men

Never going to happen. Women, even lesbians in a lot of ways, are dick worshippers and doormats which makes sense because that's how men have forced women into being to be able to survive. And you are aware of the hatred non-white men have for white men. No point keeping them around so they can direct even more of their hatred towards women.
