Wow, a lot of people on the play store are bitching about transphobia, so it must be good. My concerns are how it verifies if I'm female, and if males sometimes slip through.

It's pathetic that they can't stand being excluded and have to break in. It will still a lot less males than the standard dating app.

Ugh. They have hundreds of spaces that include them, yet fly off the handle when women just want a space or two apart from them. I tried girlfriend social, but it's just for making friends, and trans women are allowed. I should probably give this app a go.

After looking it up, seems you have to take a picture of your face and an AI program determines your sex. If it doesn't tag you as female the app team can review the photo (they said this happens to females 1 in 500 times). And if a male slips through you can report them.

I recommend you be careful before getting on this app. I don't remember all the details but there was some drama with the creator (Sall Grover) and how she treated members or something like that? Could anyone who remembers share?

I also saw screenshots of Sall saying that they actually do allow "transwomen" on the app in one place and saying that they don't on another, so exercise caution.

I think she changed her mind about allowing trans women in because initially she wasn’t aware of how bad their harassment of women was.

Yeah she had a giant fight on gender critical and basically threw a tantrum.

I dunno though she seems to have humbled a bit.

She would need decent security for an app like this.

I've heard contradicting information about this. The creator went back and forth about whether or not to allow transwomen to openly use the app. I couldn't tell if she was being wishy-washy in order to find out what would make her the most money, or if she was just outright unaware about what both markets demand.

Ι presume there is already a torch and pitchfork TRA mob ready to lynch the creators?

Okay, but no lesbian is lame enough to name an app “giggle.” I mean, come on. I just don’t buy it. We are def not the target audience. Giggle is a straight woman word.

That's a weird take. What would be the lesbian equivalent?

Flannel

"She said something funny and it made me flannel"

If there isnt a lesbian dating app called Flannel then we clearly need to make one.
