Honestly I hate how greysexuality/demisexuality are put together with asexuality. One implies the person will be still down for something but after a while, the other one will be never down for anything. And this way a straight woman who just needs a bit more time to fuck can claim to be "queer."

And even then I don't view either as queer. I don't feel persecuted for asexuality like gay/bi people do. I have other issues though, as I gotta organize my life a bit differently than average straight person. In a way I gotta find another asexual like me to be comparible and have a relationship where we both are happy. Not one where one is prevented from having their natural needs met because of me.

I overall don't like the word queer at this point. I associate Queer with the idea of a subculture, cultural appropriation and LGB tourism by straight people. To me queer means a poser, lol.

It must be frustrating to see "queers" claim they're an asexuality spectrum. It minimizes your struggles.

I got fed up with mainstream asexual spaces years ago. You'd think you will see people having discussion about actual asexuality - what makes us different to the rest to the world, what doesn't, what are the common experiences we don't relate to, how we want to navigate the world as asexuals etc. Well no. You so often so people being like: "How often do you guys masturbate?" "What kinks do you have?" "How often do you have sex?" "Is it OK for me to be in this space if I am ace who has sex everyday with my partner but just recently realized I may be ace but love sex?" "What kinds of porn do you watch?" Or some random posts like: "Remember you're valid if you're an asexual who is addicted to porn/is hypersexual/has kinks/has sex everyday/loves sex."

I got so fed up one day and unsubbed from all the "ace" subs on Reddit and muted tags and words associated with asexuality on other social media. Kinda sad but it saved me some sanity. I guess I can slightly relate to you guys when I see similar "activism" with posts/randos preaching how as a lesbian you have to love the dick if it's attached to a "woman" or as a gay man you gotta love pussy if it's attached to a "man".

I think the whole LGBTQWTF+ is all over the place for everyone. Even for actual trans people who don't subscribe to any of that bullshit.

We have a very similar experience in that regard. Our identities are being torn down by the posers who for some reason magnetically gravitate to the LGBTQ+ community. I have no problem working hand-in-hand with true asexuals - after all, they struggle with real issues that society as large doesn't understand. But in the end, we're not the same thing and shouldn't be joined together in an acronym that no longer means anything. Screw the fake queers.
