I don't think it peaked them, but they were getting tired of the gender theology being forced on them in the culture. Suddenly something that is marketed to them has gender ideology on it, "woke" ideology on it, which left them feeling encroached upon. If there was a product marketed and used mainly by progressives, and then they put the head of the NRA on it, the left would have a problem with it.

What made it worse was the head of marketing was caught in a viral video saying how the brand was too heavy on frat culture, basically making fun of the people who were the majority of Bud Light drinkers. She was trying to appeal to a new market of people who would never buy Bud Light.

So basically you have this buffoon (Dylan) who they think is mocking women as well as spreading gender ideology splashed across their beer, and they decided to teach Bud a lesson.

The ironic part is that the woke LGBTQ++ decided that Bud should have supported trans instead of scrambling to cut their losses, so now LGBTQ community and bars, etc. are also boycotting Bud. So they are in a no win situation lol.
