It’s your decision. But you are going to encounter people whom you disagree with in most situations.

1). Trolls annoy me too. But I just ignore them. As long as they’re not spanning or doxing they are easy to ignore.

2). Who was saying that? I don’t think there are white supremacists on here. Maybe there are two or three, but as long as they don’t make the sub about white supremacy, they shouldn’t be too much of a bother. I am against racism of any kind, and no race is better than the other. But I don’t care if other people are racist as long as they don’t involve me or people I care about or innocent people in their racism. I want this sub to stay focused on LGB dropping the T.

3). Yeah, I’m against bullying transgender people as well. But aside from a few, most people don’t have a problem with transgender people existing. We just don’t want to go out of our way to accommodate them in spaces that are made for us, and want society to realise that homosexuals/bisexuals have a different fight than transgenders.

4). I will concede that the Republican Party sucks. In fact, I think the left-right paradigm is lame, and that political partisanship is one of the greatest weaknesses of democracy because it incites division within society. But I’m still willing to talk to people regardless of their political party affiliations or political views. The Republicans are right wing by European standards, sometime even far right. But by the standards of non-western countries, the Republicans are centrists, some or even left wing. In fact, some Republicans are left wing by European standards.

You’re welcome on this sub any time. And I wish you the best of luck. But try to understand that this sub and the world in general is pretty nuanced.

My opinion is pretty close to this. I deal with people I heavily disagree with online quite often. If my main approach was trying to completely separate myself from the views of all those people from the very beginning, I probably would've ended up exclusively on a blog I made for myself, replying with "Hear hear!" and eventually "Yas Queen!" to my brilliant rants.

Lol. I know people who do this.

Exactly. Plus, it's exciting when you're talking to someone you disagree with on most issues then suddenly you both agree on something.
