It was the same old same old "bisexual women are ruining my life and I hate them, how dare you silence me, center me even though I'm just dumping vitriol on other women, expecting me to treat other women with respect is oppression...", etc. There was a backstory but that's what it devolved into.

Gotcha, thanks for the context. I just looked at some of that post and I agree with your take... I think OP massively misinterpreted the Ovarit post in the first place, and then for some reason decided to blame it on bisexuals. A lot of shaming going on there, in multiple ways, which is bullshit.

It's really fucked up that there's this core group of people that have so much animosity for bisexuals in particular. I just don't get why, we have so much more in common than we have different... and anyway, what differences there are between a bisexual person's experience and my own don't threaten my homosexuality! I'm not sure if the people who are so obsessive about that are TRA trolls, radfems who follow the Julie Bindel line of thought, or just asshole gay/lesbian people. But it's wrong for them to do regardless of their intentions. I'm sorry that Tumbleweed has had to deal with it, and that other bi users on this sub have been dealing with that negativity directed toward them for so long, yourself included.
