It's this bizarre belief that you get to "identify" with or "feel comfortable" using certain words, then twist that word's definition around you, to fit what you are. Which isn't how language works. If you allowed that, you'd have 8 billion different definitions for the same descriptor, which makes it useless as a descriptor, since it isn't actually describing anything.

According to a dumbassery from twitter I saw reposted to reddit a few days ago, there are 8 billion human sexualities, because each human's is a little different.

This is how we have bizzare crap like lesbian definition being non-men loving non-men. Or even saying a lesbian can like men. Asexual who loves sex and actively seeks it - not to mention asexual spectrum which justifies the fact you still lust after people as long as you say it happens rarely to you or under certain circumstances. And then how being trans doesn't require having a psychiatric condition.
