It's almost like women are expected to go out of our way to make men feel welcome and comfortable while men don't give a shit about doing it for women.

Men don't give a shit period. That's how men socialize. If you think people are going to fall all over you even as a cis gay man (unless sex is on the table) you're going to be very disappointed.

lol Here's a tip for that person - if you find a group for "queer men," there probably aren't going to be that many gay men there, so you can feel free to go hang out with your girlfriends that think they're your boyfriends and with the straight boys that toss on the Q to get the V.
