No. Children cannot process sexuality or gender. They’re children. Just let them be children and stop interfering with them.

And even if they could, they shouldn't be directed to do so. No one should be directed by any educational institution to process their sexuality and how well they comply with gender roles. That's not helpful. That's something for everyone to work out in private on their own time.

    It’s not normal to feel that way as a 4-9 year old. Actually, sexual interest at that age is considered a sign of sexual abuse.
