I campaigned hard for marriage equality, as I was personally invested in the outcome and feeling equal.

At this point, I would trade this hard-won civil rights advancement if it puts this crazy trans genie back in the bottle.

The sad part is that this is the slippery slope that was warned of by people fighting against marriage equality. It sounded ridiculous at the time but it has come to pass. The really sad part is that this nonsense was totally preventable and has nothing to do with marriage equality.

It is crazy the extent to which the alphabet mafia colonized the lgb movement from the inside out and is able to push all the bullshit that rational people find absurd under the guise of 'equal rights' and 'inclusivity'. Preschoolers don't need to have a deep think about how they feel on the inside. They need to not eat paste and smack each other with blocks.

Exactly. Kids dont live anymore. Nobody needs to worry about this crap until they are in their teens anyway

I think teen years is one of the worst times to learn about gender because they're so desperate for an identity, an answer, anything to justify their inner turmoil when the truth is; all teenagers struggle to find themselves, that's part of being a teenager. Sexual orientation and how to navigate healthy platonic, sexual and romantic relationships should be taught to teens. Gender souls, no. Let them find out about that on their own as adults.

I agree, when I said "this stuff" I meant more sex ed and sexual orientation not the gender crap.

Preschoolers don't need to have a deep think about how they feel on the inside. They need to not eat paste and smack each other with blocks.

Let them eat paste and hit each other with blocks, it's how they learn boundaries and logical consequences for their actions. Maybe if more kids learned about physical boundaries and cause/effect of their actions, we would have less adults running around screaming about gender souls and refusing to let go of their favorite brand of make believe.

Back in the good old days maybe. If you start gobbling up the Elmers and hitting other kids these days, you're going to be put on some medication.

I don’t blame you.

How about we throw the pedophiles in jail and keep them the fuck away from children? Sounds like a good plan to me.

I’m with you. That would make a lot more sense.

Context: KinderCare has branches across the USA and boasts an extensive LGBTIQQAAXYZWTF+ curriculum.

It literally matters because you use markers based on the ink.................... I doubt it but is this a sneaky way of peaking kids?

[–]turtleduck23 18 insightful - 1 fun18 insightful - 0 fun19 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

exactly. if i'm a kid and want to draw a blue sky and the marker ends up being red i wouldn't be happy. just like if i expect a real woman with a real vag and end up seeing a "lady cock" i'm not going to be happy. it's pure brainwashing at this point.

I remember in school, it was the boys who would switch the caps around on the pens so the girls would end up messing up their drawings. Hmmm.

[–]CleverFoolOfEarth 6 insightful - 1 fun6 insightful - 0 fun7 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

The connection is some of those exact same boys turned into these fools. Most mean kids grow up to be better, but when they don't, they become adults with very ugly personalities. Twitter snarts all have awfully ugly personalities.

I think the idea is to take a, say, pink marker and put a blue cap on it. So when you look at the outside of the marker, it looks like a blue marker, but you open it up and it's actually pink inside! It's important that the outside matches the inside, so you change the blue cap to a pink cap and everyone's happy.

In other words, if you feel girly on the inside but you're a boy on the outside, you need to change your body in order to make the outside match the inside, because it's the INSIDE that's what's important.

Oh you're right, I was being a filthy genital fetishist and trying to match the secondary sexual characteristics to the genitals rather than to their underdeveloped personality.

They really thought they did something.

No. Children cannot process sexuality or gender. They’re children. Just let them be children and stop interfering with them.

And even if they could, they shouldn't be directed to do so. No one should be directed by any educational institution to process their sexuality and how well they comply with gender roles. That's not helpful. That's something for everyone to work out in private on their own time.

Exactly. Let children develop their identities at their own pace.

It’s not normal to feel that way as a 4-9 year old. Actually, sexual interest at that age is considered a sign of sexual abuse.

This is not the appropriate place to discuss graphic details about your sexuality as a child. It's also against the TOS of SaidIt.

I went to KinderCare for 2 years in the 90s. I remember a 4-5 y/o girl getting chewed out because she brought a peanut butter & jelly sandwich from home and I guess there was a "no outside food" rule. As if she, not her parents, were responsible for the illicit sandwich. Fuckers also never let me have more than a practical thimble of milk because I wouldn't finish their nasty food even though I told them I needed the milk to wash it down. Unfortunately they left me with no choice but to secretly dispose of the food on the floor under everyone's chairs so they wouldn't know it was me.

How in the fuck did someone sneak this manipulative nonsense in there if they couldn't even sneak in an innocent pb&j?

This was stupid. Of course it matters... it's upsetting to expect one thing and to get something different. Like false advertising. That's why my butch ass try to proactively let straight women know I'm a handsome WOMAN wearing men's clothes, not a man. 😄 I be at work trying to talk like my feminine sister. 😩

I can confirm that exploring gender and sexuality is not in the EYFS !!! Covers children's learning from birth to five in the UK

Honestly the whole "feeling your gender identity" reminds me of one specific experience I had with religion as a fucking kid at school. We had religion education which was just Christian teaching. So the catechist was like - Jesus is everywhere, you can feel him and hear him in your heart. And then she said for us to be quiet for a minute to hear him. Heard fucking nothing and it was just so bizarre to me as a kid. Same with gender identity. I don't fucking feel it. I've been just always at peace with my anatomy. But I have no innate sense of being any gender.

    This secular religion basically.
