Following his transition about seven years ago, he has grown a full beard, developed gym-built muscles and now appears just as masculine as his male colleagues at work.

Women would do well to break into the trades. But the bar is very high. It's super hard to be a female in the trades, with some exceptions.

I dated a dude once who was an electrician, and straight as can be but took care of himself and his appearance. His coworkers called him a dandy every day.
