While what you are saying is like saying "I was a man before, but I chose to be a woman and now I am a woman and I understand how to be woman and there no difference as we act same way anyways". When no, it is not the case. That is one of reasons why some bisexual people are not liked by homosexual people - because they think they can speak for us and can speak on how it works for everyone else, for some reason they think that all people are bisexual.

And no, it is not indirect slap in the faces of homophobes, in place where I lived such bisexual people were praised by homophobes and set as example to homosexual people that it is possible to change sexuality and this means that we chosen to be gay - so there no reason to not put us in prison, because it was our choice to go against the law.
