You must have been feeling isolated, and tired of having to deal with this homophobic society alone, without having someone to lean on. Please know that there are more of us out there: women who care about their fellow women and wouldn't want to have anything to do with men and their penises. Speaking of toys, I must admit that I hate "dildos" and "strap-ons" with a passion, more so since the rise of "transgenderism", and "trans-identified" women, aka "trans men", boasting about their "strap-ons".

Instead of toys, the focus should be on the genitals of the same-sex. For women, fingers are enough to pinch the clitoral hood and tug up and down to please us. No toy is needed.

It's annoying that they try to shove us into "only top" or "only bottom" roles during lesbian activities as well. Gay activities allow for an exchange of pleasure. One receives and the other gives, yes. But they can change positions and the receiver can give back to the previous giver the same way she did, with the same attentiveness and equipment, something that can not exist in "straight" activities.

is not a desire, it is sexuality.

"Sexuality" is a desire.

Gender activists are believing that sex is something that can be changed and that it is a choice. How their belief is different to yours?

"Gender activists" are incorrect. Sex can not change, while there is nothing to prove "sexuality" is innate. Other species do not have "sexualities". They do not have the mental capacity to desire something, let alone have a goal. They go with anything that's in their way. To claim they have "sexuality" is grave anthropomorphism. You attribute human qualities to other species.

It does, you was able to feel something towards men. This means that it is two sexes you was attracted. Two sexes is bisexuality. If bisexual man is in lifelong relationship with a woman it does not mean that he is straight now, it means that he is bisexual but have chosen to live with a woman and be attracted to women.

That "bisexual" man you mention still feels "attraction" toward men. I feel no attraction toward men. I can not be "bisexual".

So again, is being born woman or a man is "we couldn't have possibly helped ourselves" as thought being "man" or "woman" is an illness you wouldn't chose if you could? What about height? What about color of eyes? It just makes no sense. Is it SOUNDS LIKE that? You said that phrasing itself sounds like that.

False equivalence. The entire point of "born this way" was so homophobes pity openly gay people. "Aww poor you, you can't change yourself, so it's okay".

That's not the same as sex and height that can not change and one can not choose. Sex is physical. "Sexuality" is in the mind, and nothing but one's feelings which can not be objectively detected. Very different from sex, which can be objectively detected through organ and DNA inspection. "Sexuality" is influenced by culture and society, due to its dependence on the brain that's constantly shaped by culture, while sex can not change, due to its independence from the brain. No matter how one is perceived in society, and no matter how much surgery they have, they remain the sex they were before.

They want sexuality to be a choice and not something innate, they don't want to believe it is something that people just are

And you want "sexuality" to be innate so people who disagree with you on "sexuality" be labelled as "bigots".

Edit (response to your other comment):

And yet we see homosexual primates, birds, cats and other animals, who are refusing to mate with opposite sex even if they "are on heat" and only want to mate with same sex. Female bonobo even have tribadism among their lesbians, who only want to have sex with other females.

That's not "sexuality". That's same-sex activity. "Sexuality" is "sexual feelings and thoughts toward another". That requires a level of consciousness other species do not have.

Humans are not "special" and of course other species engage in same-sex activities. But I wouldn't claim other species are so-called "straight" or "gay". They don't care about who and what they do it with.

Humans are sadly at a level of consciousness that was a huge mistake. At least a dog doesn't care about what they hump. They hump a pillow, leg, anything, while humans have become "self-conscious" and judgmental, hating on their gay desires, and so on.

There are certain things humans sadly have, that other species don't. Other species can not be homophobic, while humans are homophobic. Other species don't have "sexualities", while humans do.

It is same, as we can't chose it. Your own bisexual experience is just your own and it is different to experience of homosexual people. Yet you are calling that "you have chosen to be homosexual" and then "bi"explaining homosexuality to homosexual people and saying that our whole life of experience is just wrong and we actually never had it, but you know better. Just same way as transwomen mansplaining to women what it is to be a woman and how they have chosen to be one.

You act like you know better. You don't. Why are you talking over my experiences? You don't know anything about me. And if I'm going to take some random stranger on the internet at their word that they are gay, it's only fair for you to accept my feelings on the matter that I am not "bisexual".

The "bisexual" man in your example is still attracted to men. I am not. I have changed so that I am only attracted to my same-sex, other women. That's not what a "bisexual" is. Which part of that do you not understand?

how exactly society is pushing to be gay? Especially somewhere like in Iran or Taliban ... Are homosexual people there just liking extreme pain and don't value their own lives?

Taliban is a group of islamic people, not a country.

I'm from a muslim country in which openly gay people would be at least imprisoned. I cautiously resist the government, and oppose islam not to end up in prison. I would write on walls that "Allah doesn't exist" and bring up atheism in university classes before lockdown. Now all of my opposition is online, till next semester (I'm 24 by the way).

I may value my "life". But the red faces of homophobes that want one to choose the "straight" lifestyle, seeing me do the opposite, is lovely. It is a slap in their faces, just as my atheism is a slap in their faces.

I have even encouraged my sisters to find girlfriends and they did, cautiously so, hiding behind "it's just friends being friends" not to be caught. I chose to be gay, and I'm happy with it.

A febfem still feels "attraction" toward men despite the hatred. I don't feel "attraction" toward men at all. Even if I were a "bisexual" before in my teenager years, I'm not now. Things changed.

But yes, I would consider myself a "political lesbian". It best describes my situation.

Because if we can choose our sexuality, a gay who doesn't like to be such and wants a normal het life, could be able to get toremove their homo attraction like you said to do with your hetero attraction

That's different. I can not allow the "conversion" of someone who is gay to so-called "straight" even if the gay individual struggles with internalized homophobia and wishes to be a part of the "straight" mob.

But conversion from so-called "straight" to gay is allowed. My goal is a complete separation of men from women, and rainbow society, to further treat so-called "straights" as they have treated openly gay people throughout history.

Edit (response to your other comment):

That's just your opinion. You're labelling me based on your opinion that "sexuality can not change", while I believe I changed from "bisexual" to "lesbian" and got rid of any "attraction" to the opposite-sex.

Also, you won't allow people? I mean this level of megalomaniac talking is simply too stupid to be taken seriously.

Someone has to be in power. The people with their "straight" agendas are for now, and that is to change. The goal should be a society in which only gay desires persist. There is no room for the sickening "straight" lifestyle and those who engage in it. The so-called "straights" would be treated as openly gay people have been treated throughout history at the hands of so-called "straights": like filth.

Your issue is that you compare "sexuality" to something that can not change, e.g. sex. You move from the conclusion that you want, "sexuality is not a choice", to premises. That's backwards. Unlike sex, man or woman, which is an innate property, I don't believe "sexuality" is an innate property. Sex is physical and can be detected and objectively measured, regardless of society and culture. "Sexuality" is in the mind, completely influenced by society and culture, and can never be objectively measured. It's subjective.

I would compare "sexuality" to other desires, e.g. I crave eating a cake now, but I won't. And stop the desire.

The label "bisexual" wouldn't work on me. I feel nothing toward men. "Born this way" can not explain and include people such as myself that do not engage in the "straight" lifestyle, and have done their best to turn off any feeling toward the opposite sex.

That I feel I chose to be gay is pro-gay, and in no way homophobic. It's "born this way" that was used to send the message, "we couldn't have possibly helped ourselves" as though "gay" is an illness you wouldn't choose if you could.

it is not indirect slap in the faces of homophobes

It is. I do the opposite of what homophobes want. They want people to choose the "straight" lifestyle. I don't. That's a slap in their face.

Actually, "I couldn't have possibly chosen to be gay" is what's homophobic. You make it sound like it's something you would never want to be, but have to deal with because "it's not a choice".

I changed my "sexuality" and became a lesbian. That's what it feels like to me. And I'm very happy with my choices. I chose this, despite the discrimination I have to deal with. It gets the knickers of the homophobes in a twist, and makes them "upset", and I'm happy with that. It's an indirect slap in their faces.

And that's explain all your comments. You don't get what it means not to be able to be sex attracted to male. You did a conscious choice of ignoring your hetero attraction and think that how sexuality works, that you choose it. Well, thats not the case. You're still bi, with women leaning, but not actually homosexual. Real homosexual isn't a choice, only bi women can say to choose a sex over another.

It makes no sense for me to be "female-leaning bisexual" anymore. You dismissed the part I explained to you that I feel nothing, absolutely nothing, toward men. If I were "bisexual", I would feel something and I don't.

I used to feel something 7+ years ago and did not act on the feeling. Instead, I turned that feeling off (converting myself from "female-leaning bisexual" to "lesbian"). I've never been with men, and never will be. There's no difference between me, and a woman claiming to be a lesbian that "didn't choose lesbianism" who dates women. For all practical purposes, we are the same. It's that I chose what I want to be.

Also your idea towards men is quite unfair. Most men are decent people

Nope. Most men are misogynistic and get off on choking and "r-ping" women (hence why they are the top "p-rn" searches).

Don't forget most of them are religious and use Christianity, Islam and Judaism to oppress women and push them to stay at home and mop the kitchen floor for them.

For most of history, men have been indecent. And to this day, they have not changed.

Also, I think real homosexuality is like 1-2 percent

I think the percentages of openly gay people are way higher than that-

It makes me happy that non-asians are interested in us and seek to broaden their perspective to connect with us cross-culturally!

Fellow asian women are my priority when it comes to dating and relationships, so I understand why we would be in your bucket list too 😂

But that doesn't change the fact that your arguments make no sense, of course.

I'm sure they make sense 😉

If you really choose to be gay, you clearly a bisexual woman who prefer others women, and so choose to be with only women. Homosexuality isn't a choice.

I'm not "bisexual". And even if I were before*, I have successfully turned off all "attraction" to men and feel nothing toward them. It's other women that I am attracted to. For all practical purposes, I am a lesbian, who chose her path despite widespread discrimination.

For me is only about the far highr chances to finding someone right. I do find relationship with women superior in everything comparing to relationship with men, I think women are just better, sexually and emotionally, but being part of a super small minority doesn't make life easy. Even in a country where homosexuality is accepted, the dating odds are far worst when your dating poll is severely restricted. That's why I'm not so happy about total homosexuality, nothing to do with homophobia. I like to be lesbian, I just don't like the stats.

The frustration with dating pools is understandable; however, think of it this way. Most, if not all, of the men that claim to be "into" women one way or another are misogynistic, and if there were no laws restricting them, they would be constantly groping, cat-calling and "assaulting" women. The history of men doing as they wish to women is not pretty.

"Better to have no friends than to have fake friends". Change that to, "better to stay single than to be with someone who's only there to get in my pants".

Men that claim to be "into" women do not care for women on average. Most "sexual assault" cases are done by the very men women believe they can trust, their partners, and spouses for instance.

As for the statistics, if the population of the openly gay people were 3%, it would be: 7 billion x 3% = 210,000,000

Women would be half the population: 210,000,000/2 = 105,000,000

You have about 105,000,000 openly gay women in your dating pool, as long as you are open to dating women of ethnicities that are different from yours.

It is a large number in my view that can keep you satisfied.

Lesbians exist. I am one and I've never been close to a penis.

The interactions I have with men are out of "necessity", such as interacting with male professors, taxi drivers, cashiers a the supermarket, and family members, all of which take place at a distance.

Anything more than "friendship" with males arouses revulsion and extreme discomfort.

I would never wish I were "into men". Gross.

Whatever you call a woman who has never been with a man, that's me. I'd consider myself pure.

Testing on other animals is immoral too, except humans don't care. And did you forget although testing on humans is illegal on papers, it's already being done? "Transgenderism". Big corporations want money, and test subjects to see what hormones and surgeries do to human bodies. Their goal or agenda is "transhumanism", and mentally ill people are the perfect subjects for them, because they can hide behind "human rights" to damage their bodies.

I'm sure just as they somehow figured hormones lead to "sexualities" that you see in humans with the use of rats, they can figure what level of hormones are needed at what time and at what developmental stage to change "sexuality". They'll be able to control hormone levels in the womb just fine.

Well if humans tested on rats, we can test on humans, hmm? Apparently, "sexuality" can change. All it takes is controlling hormone levels in the womb, and the way certain genes express themselves, so that say, what would be a so-called "straight" human changes to become a gay human. In other words, even with the "biological inclination" claims, "sexuality" can change, albeit before birth and in the womb.

There is a difference between cultural influence and biological inclination

Nope. Both would be out of one's control.

But a person born in a bigoted culture can technically changes their views if their experience leads them to do it

They do not change actually. Whether or not one changes their view, and understands certain arguments depends on their brain capacity, hence similar inclinations that you speak of. Most people have average to below IQs, and even the ones with high IQs fall for false information.

You can't expect the majority to understand and change through discussions and arguments. You can "force" them to not think and act the way they do, through laws, and fear, which we do so people start keeping their thoughts to themselves at least, and that's it.

A lot of stuff are out of our control

Yeah, that's why the line between what's in one's control and what's out of one's control is arbitrarily drawn. If you can not choose your feelings, who's to say you can choose your actions? Had you grown up in the 1600s, you would have been as misogynistic, racist and homophobic as the rest of the population. You would have different tastes, hobbies, etc. Who's to say your brain, environment, genes and hormones don't render actions out of your control?

You can not even choose whether or not your nails grow. It's ironic to me that humans feel they can all of a sudden, somehow, "choose" their actions.

But, again, in the existence of free will, even feelings can change and people would be able to control their desires. The whole point of free will is the ability to feel, think, desire and act otherwise. Changing desires and feelings with the power of will and motivation.

[–]UWUness 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

You fail to understand what it means to have an illusion of free will. With your consciousness, you would have such illusion of control, when you'd be simply acting on what you were determined, influenced and taught to do in your culture and environment. Had you grown up in a different culture, you would have acted differently, and you would have believed you "choose" your actions eventhough that would not be the case. You would be like a doll, albeit a conscious one, that is aware of what it's doing, but can not do anything to change the course of its "fate". Not a perfect analogy, but imagine the audience watching an animation. They would be aware of what the characters do, but would not be able to change what the characters do.

That's if there is no free will. If there were free will, sexual desires could be changed and overcome.

Whether or not there is free will is up for debate. And you do not know the answer to the question. That's the reason I'm on neither side of the debate.

I was quoting myself.

The action is a choice, the impulse, attraction isn't

The point was, you don't know that. Actions could be determined by environment, hormones and genes too, and you could be having an illusion of free will, an illusion of control, over your actions, in a hard deterministic system.

You can't solve this determinism vs. free will debate with your rat experiments.

Are you a mere slave to your genes and hormones, or are you more than a slave? This is a free will vs. determinism debate that has been ongoing, and your "pretty sure" isn't going to put an end to the debate. If humans have free will, it doesn't matter whether or not they are born [insert sexuality]. They could simply overcome and not act on their "straight" desires for instance.

But if humans are mere slaves to their genes, that's a whole other can of worms, because not even actions such as theft would be choices.

What I know is that the line drawn between what's a choice and what's not a choice is arbitrary. There's no reason to stop at "sexuality" not being a choice. Actions too would be determined by environment, hormones and genes, and would not be choices under a hard deterministic system, in which case to single out "sexuality" as though it's an exception would not make sense.

Humans are not rats ... That's the issue. Just because there is a correlation in rats, doesn't mean that's the case in humans.

Science could come to a different conclusion later on. But because we can not experiment on humans, or other animals (the rights of other animals should be recognized), we are left with you making up your own opinion.

And disagreement with your "we are born [insert sexuality]" shouldn't be swept under a rug.

Are you a mere slave to your genes and hormones, or are you more than a slave? It is not staying that our brains are same as women brains

Thank you for the clarification. I think "the brains of gay men are structured like the brains of women", as the articles put it, confuse people because articles and news tend to exaggerate information for attention. I have seen homophobes claim that "gay men are just women in men's bodies" and "lesbians are just men in women's bodies", linking to those articles in my post.

In this society, in which gay men are assumed to be like women and lesbians are assumed to be like men, but in different bodies, the articles do nothing but push for already existing, homophobic beliefs. They would claim, since gay men have "lady brains" and gay women have "manly brains", that they are to undergo surgery and call themselves "trans" for their bodies to match their brain structure.

There may be "research", but as far as I know, all of this, such as hormone exposure, are hypothesis for the reason noone really knows why someone is openly gay. They come up with opinions and ideas. And find a correlation, over-simplifying things, eventhough things could be way more complex. Just as one can find correlation between eating breakfast and beating obesity, eventhough there are multiple other factors at play if someone wants to lose weight.

Because of misogyny. Women were pressured to stay at home and mop the kitchen floor for men. Men playing the roles of "women" has a long history of homophobia and misogyny in it. We shouldn't forget the misogyny for sure.

I think getting someone of the same orientation is preferable and ideal, but shouldn't be a requirement. Getting the right sex is, though.

I 100% agree with this. "Sexuality" shouldn't be a requirement, although it would be ideal, but to be able to depict a woman, a lesbian, only a woman should be given that role, and to be able to depict a man, a gay man, only a man should be given that role. As you mentioned, appearance is important.

Because thats the most ridiculous thing. She doesn't read a male at all

I know right? It's clear as day the one with the ponytail is a woman. I didn't even "question" it's a woman I'm looking at.

Is this an asian thing? Or a tik tok thing?

It's a trend, not specific to asia - a tale as old as homophobia. Remember Shakespeare? On his stage, men often played the role of a "woman", in mannerism and costume. I wouldn't be surprised if women played the role of "gay men" and men played the role of "lesbians" back in the days.

But "cosplay", people dressing up like their favorite manga and anime characters, which originated in Japan, may have made it worse? Women, be they non-asian or asian, western or non-western, often play the role of "gay men" in cosplay to give the audience the false idea that e.g. "two hot men are kissing", when it's either a man and a woman, or two women doing so that they hide with a ton of photoshop and editing.

The number of men playing the role of "lesbians" has also been on the rise in cosplay ...

Yes, but this is part of the underlying problem, of pretending we can't see someone's sex, and pretending a straight couple is gay.

Good point! I'd consider women playing the role of "gay men" and men playing the role of "lesbians" an urgent issue myself.

One because it's the base of "transgenderism", for men to pretend to be "women" and for women to pretend to be "men", and two because it implies gay men are "women in men's bodies" and lesbians are "men in women's bodies". Gay men are not like women, and lesbians are not like men. The audience would fail to understand that, especially now that "transgenderism" has taken over them and they are too far gone.

Is this a "trans-identified" man claiming to be a "lesbian" or a "trans-identified" woman claiming to be a "gay man", because I'm confused- by UWUness in LGBDropTheT

What's the context? Online argument or someone you know IRL?

It's an online argument with a "trans right activist". They asked me to define male and female, and I did, providing them with a similar explanation. They asked, "are kids and infertile people sexless then?", and "what about "gay" people? Aren't they sexless?" afterwards 😩

(Blaire White being the perfect example)

But Blaire White believers "trans men" have "male brains" and "trans women" have "female brains". He also believes "masculine women" and "feminine men" are "genetic defects": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s9WqfBDjRF8

HSTS may be the least dogmatic. But that doesn't mean they are not dogmatic and problematic. They are homophobic men who want to "trans the gay away" and that is dogmatic ...

Anytime one of them does actually pass they are always from the early-onset group (latent homosexuals)

Aren't they also a problem because they reinforce homophobia? These gay men despise their sexuality, and undergo surgery to "trans the gay away", like Blaire White did. They also fetishize women and women's bodies. That sounds like a problem ...

And there are names for both groups, right? The gay men that undergo surgery are called "HSTS", and the men that claim to be lesbians are called "AGP"?

You're absolutely right. There's no such thing as "trans", "gender identity" or "passing".

I was just angry at myself for not recognizing that's a man pretending to be a woman. But even if a man "passes as" a woman, it doesn't make him a woman, just a man that pretends to be one.

Aww, look at you. Your kind enjoys humiliating themselves in public.

If you're going down that route, I will too. I will argue "heterosexuality" is perversion. After all, most men that follow the "straight" lifestyle are brute rapists that oppress us women and see us as nothing but objects they want to grope. It's best to get rid of "heterosexuality" altogether and put an end to this circus that is "humanity" by letting it go extinct.

How do you like being treated the way that you do openly gay people, hmm? Oh, neverminded. I couldn't care less about how you feel (:

Yes, because they are catholic and catholicism does not support gay people. It's mostly little girls priests molest.

Most pedophiles are "straight". There's no way half of the child molestation cases are by gay men ... https://stopabusecampaign.org/2017/03/10/are-most-sex-abusers-heterosexual/

Are most sex offenders heterosexual?

Yes. Most sex offenders consider themselves heterosexual [1]. Jerry Sandusky and Jared Fogel are two famous examples of married, heterosexual sex offenders

[1] Able GG, Harlow, N. The Stop Child Molestation Book, (2001) Xlibris books

I bet you got your statistics from conservative medias that pass them off as facts when they're nothing but made up numbers to push their homophobic agendas. Not that liberals are any better. They use "gender identity" to be homophobic.

Even if half of the child molestation cases were by gay men, the other half are by "straight" men. Both would be as likely to molest kids. Either avoid all men regardless of their "sexuality", or zip it.

Most rapists are men, and they are raised by "straight parents" sweatie. Take some steps back.

As a lesbian, I would never accept the TQ and P in our alphabets. We are LGB. Not "LGBTQABCDEFGHIJKLMNOP+" ...
