You’re right. The rate of obesity is higher and I’m not using it correctly. I’m using it as when you see someone and think “damn, they’re obese” (e.g. Lizzo). However, what actually counts as obese doesn’t always look obese, if that makes sense. My father-in-law is a guy with defined legs and arms and, also, a medium-ish beer belly. He’s medically classified as obese. Looking at him though, I’d never say he’s obese, just that he should cut back on the Miller High Life. But, yes, your math is correct.
