Yes, I know well what you mean. "It affects us as well" seems, hmm, maybe. Ok. It once did, in the Cold War say, but does it really effect you in your daily life? I say this as a 1st generation American with PLENTY of serious criticism of our MANY problems. But sometimes people abroad go so far the other way, just reflexive Yank-kicking that's just dumb, bitter, uninformed, from people with NO experience of American life. They think we're all Yosemite Sam religious fanatics and that African-Americans are being lynched every day. ANYWAY, at least we're not dull, lol.
